Online Consulting Projects

Online Consulting Projects

Students will experience a range of sessions taught by high-caliber content experts, as well as mentors from prestigious world universities. In a small group setting, students will learn relevant knowledge, complete research, discuss with teammates, write a consulting report and finally present it to Keru’s client. Our client will be an NGO/NPO or social enterprise.

This impactful work will demonstrate that the students are in the process of solving a REAL problem by providing a REAL solution to our clients. Our students not only have a real demonstration of their knowledge but also new skillset to present to themselves, as well as university admission teams. It is a capstone project like no other!

Now Elite wants to expand its business scope to single families so consumers do not have to go to the restaurant to eat high-quality eels. But it needs your help as a customer and a consultant to help them. Keru is recruiting a consulting team to conduct market research and deliver product attribute feedback and customer experience insights.

This course covers the basics of marketing: customer segmentation, product positioning and marketing mix. Students need to collect data and conduct consumer research analysis using Eelite eel company as a case study. Consultant work will be incorporated into Eelite's strategy and decision making. However, there is increasing recognition that clean water is a global issue and will require data and collective action to solve.

Students will develop an understanding of how water supplies are managed, secured and protected in your region and create a report to spread best practices and increase knowledge.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
There's a big difference in quality of life and living conditions in cities compared to rural areas. When it comes to water, there's actually very little wastewater infrastructure in rural areas while the amount of wastewater produced in rural China is significant. It is said that more than 100 million rural Chinese drank polluted water in 2010. It's also reported that water pollution has been estimated to cost the Chinese economy 3.1 percent of GDP.

To tackle this problem, Siyuan wants to engage a Keru team to explore successful existing wastewater management practices in China and around the globe, and determine a potential research plan that could be implemented in Siyuan’s site locations in Summer 2021.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
  • Gain insights into water basics and wastewater management worldwide
  • Present to the local partner a wastewater management research report that provides data support for the field research in 2021 summer
